Why we started yourLPA
Many people put off making a Lasting Power of Attorney. It can seem complicated, and paying for personal advice isn’t always necessary when your situation is straightforward. But doing it yourself has its own risk: the forms are easy to get wrong, and a rejected LPA means starting again, with another fee and more weeks of waiting.
yourLPA sits in between. You answer plain-English questions online, at your own pace. Then we check every answer before your LPA is printed and posted to you, with clear instructions for signing it, and we’ll check your signatures too before you send it off.
When your situation is more involved, we’ll say so, and point you to personal advice from our sister business, Futura Planning.

Who we are
yourLPA is part of Futura Planning Ltd, a family-run estate planning business based in Churchill, near Weston-super-Mare. Steve set up Futura Planning to make estate planning straightforward, honest and genuinely personal, treating every family’s future the way we’d want our own treated. yourLPA brings that same approach online, for people anywhere in England and Wales.
We’re a small team. Steve leads the checking of every LPA, with family members helping behind the scenes. As yourLPA grows, so will the team, but every LPA will always be checked by a person.
